Nairn Falls Provincial Park
History
Nairn Falls Provincial Park was established in 1966. For a long time this park served as a spiritual site for the Lil'Wat Nation (BC Parks, 2016). If you look closely one can see ''pot holes'' that have been formed within the rocks from water that has been trapped and spun in constant circles (BC Parks, 2016).
Location
The park is located approximitly twenty minutes north of Whistler on the Green River and is the perfect spot to stay while exploring the whistler area (British Columbia, 2016). Located ithin the bounderies of the village of Pemberton, just five minutes from Pemberton town centre, the park consists of 170 hectares. A beautiful 60 meter high waterfall can be found within the park and a 1.5km hiing trail will take you to a beautiful viewpoint (BC Parks, 2016).

Fauna/Flora
In the spring and summer the park is full of flora such as: Alchemilla Mollis, Adiantum Pedatum, Alpine wildflowers, Douglas-fir, huckleberry, skunk cabbage, and deer fern. All of these can be viewed along beautiful hiking trails found within the park (Tourism Whistler, 2016).
There are a variety of different types of fauna that can be found within the park. These include, bears, cougars, deer, marmots, pika, hares, squirrels, chipmunks, otters and beavers (Tourism Whistler, 2016).

Narin falls is home to the Rubber Boa (BC Parks, 2016). This small Boa constrictor is only 45cm, a shy snake and rarley seen (BC Parks, 2016). It's brown or grey colour makes it hard to see from a distance as it is offten confused with a big worm. Birds such as the gray jay and raven are offten seen within the park (BC Parks, 2016).

Recreational Activities
Nairn Falls is an excellent base camp for exploring Whistler. It is an excelant place to rock climb, mountian bike, kayak and paddleboard. The park has camping facilities for tents, trailers and picnic sites for day use (British Columbia, 2016). While visiting the park you must take a hike along the trail. At the end you will be rewarded with a view of a beautiful 60 m tall waterfall (British Columbia, 2016).

Yoho National Park
The park is located on the Western Slopes of the Canadian Rockey Mountians (Parks Canada, 2016). It was named after the Cree expression of awe and wonder (Parks Canada, 2016). The park attracts visitors from all over the world because of the beautiful landforms that can be seen this includes, mountians, virtical rock walls, waterfalls and many rivers and steams that spread throughout the park (Parks Canada, 2016). There are also a variety of activities tourist can enjoy such as: skiing, snowshoeing in the winter and guided hiking tours in the spring and summer (Parks Canada, 2016). There are also, a wide variety of wildlife that call the park their home, including Elk, moose, deer, wolf, and the Canadian lynx (Parks Canada, 2016). The Kicking Horse Campground in located right in the park and is an extreamly handy spot to stay while exploring (Parks Canada, 2016).
